If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, your insurance may reimburse you for some portion of your out-of-pocket costs for out-of-network care. Please review your plan details and/or reach out to your insurance directly to learn more about your out-of-network benefits, if you have them.
If you do have out-of-network benefits, Seven Starling can provide you with a superbill upon request, which will be uploaded to your secure Seven Starling account for you to download and submit directly to your insurance. Please email us at support@sevenstarling.com and we'd be happy to provide a superbill!
How do I know if my insurance covers out-of-network mental health services?
We suggest reaching out to your insurance directly to inquire if you have out-of-network benefits for mental health services. If you do have out-of-network benefits for mental health services, be sure to ask if you have an out-of-network deductible, and if yes how much is remaining in your out-of-network deductible, as well as asking about your reimbursement rates for services.
If you have out-of-network benefits for mental health services, our Care Support team can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Reach out to support@sevenstarling.com to request a superbill for any completed sessions.
How do I request a Superbill?
Superbills are generated upon request and will be uploaded to your secure Seven Starling account. Please email us at support@sevenstarling.com with “Superbill Request” in the subject line and we'd be happy to help you!
How do I submit a claim for out-of-network reimbursement?
To claim out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company, please contact your insurance directly to understand your out-of-network benefits and how to submit an out-of-network claim. Please note that Seven Starling does not submit out-of-network claims on a patient’s behalf, but we are more than happy to provide you with a detailed superbill to submit directly to your insurer. Please email support@sevenstarling.com with “Superbill Request” in the subject line to request a superbill.
What if my superbill is rejected?
If your superbill is rejected, we suggest reaching out to your insurance directly to learn more. If your insurance requires additional information in your superbill in order to successfully process it, please share these details with Seven Starling’s Support team via email at support@sevenstarling.com. We will do our best to provide the information to meet your insurer’s unique requirements.
Please note that Seven Starling is not able to guarantee out-of-network reimbursement, even with a superbill. Out-of-network benefits and any applicable reimbursements are determined solely by your insurance, based on your specific plan details.
